Frequently Asked Questions
How is air freight priced?
By chargeable weight: the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight (length × width × height in centimeters divided by 6,000 for most airlines). On top of the rate come fuel and security surcharges and handling at origin and destination. Light, bulky cargo is charged on volume, so compact packing saves money.
How long does air freight take?
Express services usually deliver in 3–5 days door to door, standard services in 5–7 and consolidated services in 7–10, depending on the route, flight connections and customs clearance. We confirm the schedule when we book.
Can you ship dangerous goods by air?
Yes, through certified partners. Lithium batteries, perfumes, paints and other dangerous goods need the correct classification, packaging, labels and a shipper's declaration, and some may fly only on cargo aircraft. Tell us what the goods are before booking so we can confirm they can fly.
